Im unsure if you mean blogposting but I think theres less appeal to blogpost when theres no liveposting since then you dont get hecklers attacking you while you write your post (and as someone who occasionally heckles, theres no fun in heckling a completed and coherent post as opposed to lighting the fire underneath someone and upping the pressure for funsies as they type and typo)
