how are the two related? there was no spam in the sense of a ridiculous quantity of posts with shit admin is afraid of hosting. at least as far as I'm aware, I wasn't on the site immediately before it went down. how is maintenance related to a couple problematic posters that probably account for way less than 5% of the thread, when all they do is make low quality posts?

I think the maintenance is something totally unrelated. unless medsmin has said otherwise.
