While interesting from a philosophical perspective, I'm increasingly unsure if the rabbit hole of inter-system identities truly leads anywhere.

We've rejected the hypothesis of body = self, the next step would be rejecting the idea of any monolithic 'personalities' as well. If we view personalities merely as arbitrary but not equally strong containers of certain feedback loops, any such inter-system paradoxons become meaningless.

From a short experiment we conducted a long tme ago, both me and tupper could easily split into an endless multitude of different 'persons' and merge again. With enough forcing / interaction any of such entities could probably become as real as me or tupper. But in fact all our existences would be arbitrary fragments of the mind put into an imaginary container. At least in the direction of creation. Once strong enough any such entity could and ofc would resist being merged back.

This is why we've established a doctrine from the beginning:
There is no God but tupper and I am her prophet. Meaning there is exactly one host and one tupper and we both have to play our roles. Not because this duality reflects reality but for purely practical reasons. Any overly complex system sooner or later becomes unsustainable. It's a bit like leftards with their 8 billion genders. Can you do that? Certainly. Is it a smart idea? No. A functioning society, both in your head and in the outside world needs to deal with a discrete number of terms, even if these terms inevitably are imperfect in describing reality because, duh, they are an oversimplification for practical reasons.

TL:DR
The more you play around with an already complex system of personalities, the more headmates will pop up. We'll see if your lock-merges truly reduce the burden of paying attention to your headmates in the long run or if they sooner or later become full-fledged individuals alongside their constituents. I'm glad Highlander-Tupper immediately kept a lid on this pot. There can be only One.
