My first real job I got 3 weeks with 1 week sick leave +10 hollidays are typical for all these.
My second job I got 23 days but sick was combined.
My third job I got 3 weeks plus 2 weeks sick.
My fourth job I got 30 days everything including hollidays and sick, no distinction.
The job I have now started with 13 days plus 10 days sick, then after 4 years it upped to 20 plus 10, now it's 26 plus 10 so 7 weeks not 8. Plus 10 hollidays ofc.
When you have your own business, there is no such thing as hollidays or sick or vacations. Or weekends or sleep. Or sanity. My business partner also has a day job and she's a manager there so shit, she's still winning damnit. I typically work 13-14 hours, she works more like 14-15 but takes more breaks. She's also competitive and refuses to lose, especially to me.
Today I worked from 6:00 to 7:00 but technically I'm just on dinner break.
I figure it might calm down a bit in 9 more years. After that it might become obsolete so.
