I am 100% for capitol punishment, even through barbaric methods of hanging, firing squad, and gas chamber.
And to reverse the late 70's mistake of emptying mental institutions, and doing away with commitment of greater than thirty days unless adjudicated severely mentally defective.
It's not that prisons are full, it's that they obviously aren't full enough, that you have these types, of all races, running around breeding like rats.
Ironically enough, someone covered this in a podcast I listened to last week, to some extent that problem is self solving as well if left to it's own.
It was mentioned that- part of the decrease in violent crime from the early 2000s to now, was actually because of the unification of many of the Mexican gangs in the US under one or two cartel banners, that then went around on a secret war to eliminate the other gangs that refused to join, or dissolve.
Now that the U.S. is cracking down on the cartels again, gang wars are popping up again, funny that.
Ecosystems are so strange, aren't they? You dry to eliminate one pest, and it turns out that was actually a predator that was keeping another population in check, and now you have to play whack-a-mole with each new crisis that crops up from your good intentioned intervention.
