This boards is dedicated to the discussion of an idea of you, one that is unrealistic to live up to. It's been a long time since you've posted as Ashley so people here have built up a positive do no wrong caricature of who you are in their heads. It's similar to when people build up celebrities/musicians to be gods in their minds when they're actually just normal people. When you post anonymously you are seen more as a normal person and if you post as Ashley, anything you do will be rose-colored (no pun intended). At least that's my take on the situation.
