The price of things at the supermarket was so outrageous I felt compelled to express my disgust to a fellow shopper. She agreed with me. "They always go up but they never come down again" she said.
In a separate incident I told a lady that all the bananas were too ripe. They should have had some green ones out. She did not reply to me.
