When you are projected you are in a different (usually higher) mental state when you are in the body. Your mental state changes several times when you are awake. There is a way to reach a partial trance state in your mind when you awake and tap into it for that short moment when the spell casting goes then come out and live your day.

Not to mention now I am merging parts of my mind and I had a dream when I was flying as usual and as I became aware of it I tried to change my trajectory. As I was trying to use my regular way of flying I started to lose my ability to fly. Started to descend slowly. It's not that I lost that ability it's just I have to cleanse the lower mindstates because that mindstate is not mine.
