I use a lot of power and go for a slightly higher Daily Supply charge compared to other companies, but I have a lower Single Time of Use rate. The rate is more than than that Off-peak and Shoulder, but that Peak charge can get you. If you are using a lot of power at those times, it can cost a lot (i.e., hot arse afternoon with air-con cooling). It is a good time to find a plan, I found some companies are offering cheaper deals at the moment compared to the prices offered in summer. I got a cheaper Single Time of Use plan with a cheaper Daily Supply charge, I requested a change and referenced the code on Energy Made Easy website.

Just make sure the meter matches your meter for the plan, as some plans are basic meters and others are for smart meters. Also make sure they are still offering it as some will update their website but not the Energy Made Easy website or make it very difficult to confirm that niche plan exists. As they would rather push you to their advertised plans that are often more expensive, but the Energy Made Easy website can make them seem cheaper if and only if you request those specific plans that apply to your conditions (i.e., meter, solar/battery bullshit can apply but not for me and credit checks)
