Weird indeed. All my drops have been the front wheel losing it; the rear siding out is something I've had happened only a few times, but the bike stayed up like a drift.
My lastbike drop was going around a corner in the wet at ~30 km/h.. Slapped on my side, the windscreen split in half from the shock, and my wrist and hand holding the left grip got wrenched from holding on tight while the other grip hit the gorunf.
