I watched Casino Royale (2006).
It was pretty good. Had a more realistic and intense vibe than the previous ones.
You could tell it was written by someone who had read the books, whereas the Brosnan era gave the vibe that they had only ever watched the films.
I liked Daniel Craig. He was very forthright and direct. I liked watching him run. If I had any criticism maybe he was just a touch lacking in warmth and charm. Slightly too cold.
Felix Leiter is a negro again, but not quite as dark this time.
