>Cautiously you enter the ship's cabin. Clay jugs called amphorae, once filled with oils and wines, are strewn about There are no remains of the crew. You do have a sense of being in ancient Greece and it is a strange feeling.
>A door leads to a smaller cabin. On a table near the rear of this cabin is a golden box. You open it and find the remains of a map. It does not show Atlantis. It shows that the ship was searching for a hole that leads to the center of the earth!
>You return to the Seeker and use the map to locate this incredible shaft to the center of the earth. Using some guesswork to interpret the map, you discover the tunnel opening, which appears to be roughly 100 feet in diameter. The sonar readings indicate the hole has no bottom.
