We were going to throw a huge part with our money. But as always, something goes wrong with the party:
>The phone rings. You pick it up. "This Mr. Harris at the Civic Auditorium," a voice says. "I'm afraid I have bad news."
>"What's the problem?" you ask. "You don't have enough ice buckets to hold 20,000 tons of ice?"
>"No," he answers. "Fm afraid it's a bit more serious than that. I'm afraid we have is a bit of a conflict. You won't be able to use the Civic Auditorium after all."
>"What? What?" you scream, losing your cool. "The party is in two days!!"
>"I'm so sorry," Mr. Harris says quietly. "But we realized yesterday that we had rented the auditorium for that day for the all-city string quintet try outs. They reserved months ago, so we have to honor their reservation."
>''What am I supposed to do?" you cry.
>But he has hung up.
>You realize there are only two other places where you could hold such a large party. At the speedway, where the stock-car races are held. Or at the municipal park in the center of town. The park is free, which is a real disadvantage. You had hoped to spend a lot of your money renting the space for the party. The speedway is very rundown.
>Which will it be?

>The speedway? Turn to PAGE 66.
>The park? Turn to PAGE 11.
