>>1034742 A pedo4chan story you might not have heard: until moot locked everyone in the admin team out when Tom Anderson/MySpace sold out for $570M (wanting to make the site all his), the site was run by about a half-dozen guys ("The Team"), and moot was only the kid with his name on the domain registration and wasn't allowed to touch anything. There was a Donate24chan drive which brought in a bit of money to pay for a dedicated server... actually two servers.
A not4chan.com appeared, hosting several boards that'd been banned from 4chan-- /l/ and such. Moot was up and down saying it was nothing to do with 4chan.. in spite of the operators of not4chan very easily being identified as "The Team", and a traceroute of not4chan.com showed it went to the same machine as 4chan's new second server.
Everyone back then already knew Moot was a massive fucking liar.
