I cut the handle of my grandfathers adxe and looked at fitting the shovel handle I bought but the eye of the adxe is somehow not straight and will need a bit of effort to fit it. Its a carpenters adxe i think and might be like that on purpose, or it might just be he bought the last one in the shop backinnadae.
