I am back from the fortnightly shopping expedition. I went to Woolies, Foodland and Aldi.
The checkout boy at Aldi rang my $3 per kilo royal gala apples up as $8 a kilo pink ladies. Luckily I got the receipt and checked it. I ended up getting $5.30 back in cash even though I paid by card.
I got a 5kg bag of "brushed" spuds for $5.90 at Foodland. A good price for potatoes these days but I will have to wash them well, they are still covered in dirt.
I bought a packet of the Chulula brand taco seasoning mix to try. I will see how it compares to the El Paso.
