Cats are often considered cleaner than dogs because dogs eat their turd, and cats don't, and cat's "wash" themselves too, by licking all over their fur.
But noone realizes that cats lick their asses while cleaning themselves and then go over their fur with that tongue. So if you pet a cat, you're getting a handful of cat asshole too.
