This is ultimately the natural progression of all democracies, even the ancient Greeks knew it, but we continue to be arrogant and pursue delusional beliefs such as "all people should have the right to vote".

The eventual collapse of the West isn't a problem to fix, but the actual solution. We can only hope that it is enough of a deterrent to future civilizations so they don't follow in our footsteps.
