religion in it self as a product for the masses to approach spirituality might not necessarily be evil but organized religion in it's perverted role as the gatekeeper to god most certainly is. it betrays the desperation/disconnectedness of people too unconscious to know better for having a better life and funnels those people back to the plantation and teaches them to sacrifice themselves and do as they are told so that the powerful people can order them around like pawns on a chessboard; which unfortunately is the fate of most big groups. groups just produce mindless cannonfodder.

that's a disgusting way to deal with it. there are enough positive principles in all the major religions to genuinely facilitate positive evolution. they should seek to elevate people and make them more conscious, not trap them in mental shackles while training them to be absent-minded compliant accomplices who do as they are told. religion tricks idiots to participate in the war against themselves and you call the people who wage this war conscious beings...
