If I were forced to, I would take cheap mass produced pork over a starvation cult any fucking day of the week. I'm not saying this is healthy, what I am saying is starving people to death as a "solution" is evil and should not be allowed to happen if we can remedy it any other way. It would be great if everyone could afford fresh organic foods and the economy was stable but thanks to our governments and politicians that won't ever happen.
