I'm going to start at the top and work my way down.
The Fediverse is a decentralised social network made up of lots of different independent servers. These servers "Federate" (communicate) with each other so that the content and posts of their users can be seen by people on other servers. Nearly all of the Fediverse has Baraag on a blacklist which effectively works as a shadow ban, meaning that the users of other servers can't see their content. Baraaag is on this blacklist because they are pedos, the only servers who don't have Baraag on their do not federate lists are the other pedo sites, or "free speech absolutists" who are pedo tolerant in the name of no censorship of any kind.
