It's ABS. I could have drilled a hole to get a coping saw in there, or made a template for a trim router, or any number of things, but it would have either cracked or ended up wonky and scratched. Plenty of YouTube videos of experts taking to enclosures with dremels and the like and the absolute arse they produce.
Have to make a similar aperture for an illuminated switch on the panel on the other end of the enclosure.
