How would you design the route? Any mountain stage would result in Pogacar winning or trying to gift the win to Del Toro. You could do exclusively flat and hilly stages to discourage GC action but I have a feeling you be complaining more if that was the case.

I wouldn't mind that personally. But every grand tour when break aways win I see a lot of Berts complain about that too. I think it's an impossible task to design a GT route that everyone likes.
