At least you were insured, I am not thinking about it yet, but since a few months I am always locking up my bike when I leave it in front of a market - for years I didn't bother because for years a post about a stolen bike was a rarity, there has been a visible uptick in these since a year or two.
Been at a local village fest yesterday, started parking and locking up my bike, but I am seeing any of the 20 bikes is not even slightly secured, most just laying around, some of them nice.
Civilization hasn't arrived there yet in their little shire, lucky bastards.
