You'd be surprised how much kids just like to imitate their parents at a certain age. Like my daughter is obsessed by bikes and especially repairing them since she often sees me pedaling on the raper. Some of her favourite things to do are pumping up tyres, "repairing my bike" (putting a screwdriver into the wheel's thru axle hole, brushing the cassette with a soft brush etc) and playing with the brakes on my road bike. Every time she sees me on the raper she says she wants to go ride her bike as well.
