To put it another way, the pursuit of happiness is neither the meaning nor purpose of life while meaning of life is a necessary prerequisite to have a meaningful purpose within one's mortal life or else it's a meaningless purpose, undefined, invalid, like a dead tumbleweed tumbling where the wind takes it.
