This infographic explains the numbers, here's a link to the study. Granted this is only for the year 2015, so one has to observe the trends throughout the years to gain a clear read and bead on the situation. Also apparently American Women and Men are less likely to be divorced by a Jap male or Female!
Regardless though, the divorce rate for foreign males is still worrying, as you can see it's at a 50%. However, how many of these foreign marriages are to western men and women? I don't have that answer yet, I have to sleuth around web search engines because I'll be honest my Jap is pretty sloppy, as this mistake clearly shows.
