It seems to depend a lot on what units they join. You have the International Legion which seems like the more legitimate force, then you have numerous groups that are run by Nationalist units including ones that are run by Azov Battalion there are probably differences amongst all of those, then there seems to be units run by the SBU as I mentioned, there seem to be units set up by foreigners as well and who knows what else there is.
