S03 was completely released not too long ago. I'm reading the books with full force, and the telly show seems stupider by the day.
There is indeed a war with Iran (or rather a permanent hostility), but not how they depict it in the show. Beyond this the books are built up how it makes sense, but the show retcons even previous elements of the show itself, just to make some woke life lesson.
Compared to other telly shows like the Ring of GurlPowah, it's still a good show.
