News airing some gossip: Trump wants Orbán as UN Secretary-General candidate. The person of Secretary-General is suggested by the Security Council to the General Assembly to vote on. From the five permanent members US, Russia and China would accept him but UK and France expected to veto. So even if he'd get to be a candidate, the vote on his person wouldn't reach the GA.
Personally I think it would be hilarious. Imagine the butthurt. On the other hand if he actually got voted in all the way... poor Palestinians.
