I'd rather get home from my day and read 10 neko posts than 500 'ttg' posts, by the end of my time using sturdy I was scrolling through the threads not interacting with anyone. a lot of the nekos were people that commonly replied to each other and had been doing so for years. nekochen really was just us posting elsewhere for convenience of not having to scroll past every other shitpost. it wasn't intentional, just all the smart and cool guys who'd blogpost mostly.
