I use librewolf and hevc always (since that update that made it work) worked on endchan for me. It actually might not work on other sites but since end just almost literally embeds it how it would play if you dragged a file into a new tab it just werks.
I did have to change the script slightly so it does not automute and had to give endchan permissions to autoplay videos but that's also because librewolf has very aggressive privacy related defaults (that I like)

We posted on Nekochen for a long time, and /neko/ at least on this site has a policy of 1 thread every 15 days, not a thread when we hit bump limit.

Why this policy? Because I thought it would be interesting and make threads/eras more memorable. Works in my mind. Also just so happens that we averaged a little below 1k posts usually, so we have rarely hit bump limit and had to make a thread early. (Endchan forces bump limit to close a thread)
