I at least believe that government agencies love to do displays of force just to keep people in line. I just read an article about the special forces here went masked into a police station into a specific arrested person's cell for several minutes and then came out of it with three unlocked cell phones with information later used to convict him and multiple other people in a very large drug bust. The detained guy claims he was abused and basically tortured in there but the cops on the station claimed they "heard none, saw none"
