There were lots of other things that had been going on for much longer than that, but that was about the time when I wasn't able to rationalize it away anymore
Like, everyone has had that one friend who occasionally says / does something a bit too extreme but you tolerate it because that one little aspect isn't enough to taint your entire view of them, but once it progresses and worsens, eventually you cannot just wave it off for any longer
