That's years of continuous burning in 1940s-era equipment that was slower and less efficient. The math doesn't work even if they ran 24/7 from 1939 straight through 1948. Testimony at Nuremberg produced plenty of these impossible throughput numbers; they sound dramatic in transcripts but collapse under basic engineering reality.
The delousing tables at Bergen-Belsen with Zyklon B (running short as supplies collapsed) show the actual documented effort to fight the typhus epidemic caused by lice.
