I think your actions are utterly evil and barbaric. C'mon, boosting a species semi-artificially (I say this because the pictures were there, you just gathered them, as you do point out) is no way an honest or moral thing to do. Think of it. Did the administrations of Derpi, Equestria Daily, or Fimfic ever tipped the scales? yes.

Honestly, the other species have their obsessives and some who totally put this much into uploading if they could. You your use of anonymity might be morally suspect on one end but the fact that Derpi is filled with people who are (or have been) oddly territorial to a idiotic degree and obsess over the scores and uploads like some idiotic mobile game (not an offense to all who enjoy that kind of thing but some take it way too far).

This was just one huge uploading drive of organically produced artwork, albeit with a bit more sophistication.

It feels like a much healthier version of the game I already see played. Perhaps a more "channer" proper way and a tad more altruistic than what I have seen and heard about on Derpi in the past.

To me, I see it almost in terms of chemistry. All the ingredients that were for the other popular species were for the Seaponies but something happened that rendered it inert. You are just trying to mix it back up. Will you succeed? I think you already have. How much I suppose is a different question.
<The river´s flow might not reach the ocean with enough force for arriving there without running into different altitudes, changes or stuff along the way.
