The tipping point for me was the following. On /mlp/ and maybe every other 4chan board you can't post images while in incognito mode in a web browser. This is the case as of 2023-12-05 UTC (wasn't the case in early 2023-12-05 GMT). If you try, you will get this error message: "Uploading files in incognito mode is not allowed. \ The File field has been cleared." Happens in incognito ("Private") mode in Safari Browser in iPhone, and doesn't happen in incognito mode in Brave Browser and maybe all the other Chrome-based browsers. I was mostly a dumb phone posted, so this change was unappealing to me. It just looks like such a stupid update. Like why? To cut down on bandwidth/storage? Something to do with advertising or money? Perhaps if you buy a 4chan pass, you can post images in incognito mode. Fuck gook moot.
