Yes, I've tried amassing gold in the astral and it typically manifests in the physical as the sudden acquisition of some item or product that I value a lot. Which is nice, but it doesn't really solve the problem.

I think a work around might be to either make some servitors or find spirits to use as vassals that will accept my energy as currency to provide the services that I'm currently paying for via debt? Not sure on the specifics but I think the answer has something to do with delegation. Attempting to directly collect the debt-energy represented by fiat money without actually performing labor for it has never really worked out. It either directs me to career opportunities (more work) or just gives me something with personal value instead of monetary value.
