I can't speak from direct experience of doing this because I'm not trying to amass physical currency either. But: what I have noticed is that normally money is needed when you do something. In other words, if you have an important task which requires funding, you can manifest the funding as part of the task.

"Money" in itself tends to be viewed as "free assets" which can be used for anything. Like you imagine someone who can just sprinkle money on hookers and wine or whatever else a person wants.

Turn this around, and wasn't the person just manifesting mostly meaningless welfare into his life, through debt-based "money"? It was worthless and it became worthless in the end.

This works very well with nature spirits and demons. Sexual energy or simply your "seed" if you're male will be accepted as payment by most of them if you are a practicing yogi/occultist/cultivator with some achievements. I'm not saying you need to offer any physical material. It works just fine with astral matter. This is one good reason for working with female entities if you're male, you can almost always pay them. It really does work in reverse as well, but the motivation is different. If you're female or prefer to create a female body on the astral, that works too, but you need to think differently in terms of what you're offering, and also being able to separate your physical mentality from the astral perception, you still need to be hetero/cis in all forms.

There are other things which can work as currency too like harvested "material" or projected energy concentrated into material, but you'll have to figure that out yourself. The two easiest assets to work with seem to be sexual energy and souls of sinners. It's a bit stereotyped because it's essentially whoring and debt collection/slave trade but that's where it's at on the astral as well.

The Galactic Federation has no copyright so inventions have little value if sold, instead they tend to trade mostly in slaves, fuel and raw materials. The world out there is pretty grim.
