I think it would've been cool for Gabi to stay Loan's friend and possibly expand or create her friend group so she wouldn't be stuck as a some neet.
She could play games with Loan, livestream with her, talk about anime, being a sometimes unreliable but necessary big sister.
And outside of games and family, slowly push her into being more social beyond her family members, being more independent, going places with friends and by herself, better clothes and self care, setting boundaries, etc..
