"Now remember, girls, this is a big responsibility." Lincoln warned as he walked his daughters into the library. "And it comes with a very big financial obligation if you take it lightly." He stated fiercely as he looked at his sister Lisa following along.
"I fail to see how a simple withholding of reading materials results in such exuberant fines, especially for the betterment of mankind." Lisa defended herself as she followed, studying the building front desk. "My latest invention is evidence of their bureaucratic nonsense and a testament to the will of innovation!"
Lincoln quickly shot her excuse down as he held the door open. "Let's just hope it's a testament to not reporting us to a credit bureau. It's our finances on the line for this, you know."
"C'mon, guys!" Liby screamed, startling the room as she burst through the door. "They finally have the new issue that tells whether or not if the baby is one-eyed Jack's or Ace's."
"Shhh!" A café filled with customers went.
Lacy sprinted up to the double doors. "This guy's book must be important. Especially if you been waiting this long for it."
"You like coming here. I don't. And why did you have to bring us with you? Couldn't you have just made this a boys trip?" Lupa sneered.
"My word!" Lisa gasped. "I'll have you know the library is the most entertaining place in Royal Woods! A wonderland filled with knowledge of the ages.
"Leopold and Lemy are off with Lyle and Gordon and Bobby." Liby shouted back, somewhat suspicious. "Something about getting their groove with the ladies back by getting some fresh suits on. Even Connor said he wanted to go with them. And he loves the library."
"It seems we share that sentiment. In fact, it is precisely why I have decided to accompany you all here. Despite the perceived danger to my being." She added swiftly observing behind library shelves.
"Cmon, you'll love it." Lincoln coaxed. "It has books about science stuff, comics, different stories, even your Aunt Lola likes it. I bet they even have that book you and your mom li- "
Just a quick look from Lupa bore holes in Lincoln's confidence to continue talking. It was a look that screamed, please DON'T, you wouldn't, and I dare you- a screenshot of an average teenage girl's mind.
"..I bet they even have that book Me and your Mom likes." He corrected.
"Yeah, c'mon Lupa," Lacy shouted back, earning an ignored shush from the patrons, "the library has everything. It has fitness issues. It has sports articles and memoirs. It has training techniques and regimens- "
"Gee really?!" Lupa smiled. "Does it come with exercise advice and dumbells too?!"
"Shhh!"
"Sometimes they do! They even give you nutrition advice too? Wanna read some together?!"
"Shhh!!"
"..No thanks." She sighed, stiffed by Lacy's lack of fight and sarcasm. "Imma just go look at the dirty magazines til Liby gets her book and its time to go."
"Shh- "
"Oh, shut up. Half of you are on Twitter and the rest of you are between lousy first drafts and your 3rd cup of coffee." She said as she shuffled up the stairs to the manga and kids section of the library.
"Well then, if anyone needs me or unfortunately looking for me, I'll be assisting ny nieces in their scholastic pursuits. While also perusing for the finishing touches to my layest invention." Lisa said as she walked the library, shielding her face as she examid the library exits and employees.
"Good morning, Panther." Liby chirped, as she watched Panther look up from her book. "How are you today?"
"Ok. But, I'd be alot better in 15 minutes." Panther lazily waved back.
"How come?"
"Thats when I get off." She smiled.
"Hey Panther! Do you have any workout books for emos? Lupa and me were going to go exercise and she wanted to know if we had any books about dumbells and beginner exercises." Lacy smiled, running to the front desk.
"Ummm Lacy," Lincoln explained. "I don't think your sister really wants to exercise with y- "
"Of course she does Mr.Loud." Panther interrupted. "Don't you see
