I think Lori would be an overbearing, but well intentioned Mom.

But this is the same girl who went full authoritarian every chance she got on her siblings. Add in the obvious teen mom thing on top of her control-freak and vain tendencies that she hadn't grown out of yet, and I tend to think of her as having started out as an ambitious tiger-mom who pushed Loan too hard when she was young.

She does love Loan, but between all the pressure and her own drive to succeed I think that Lori would try to do it all and end up making a wreck. She'll try to be both the ultra-ambitious businesswoman she imagined herself being when she was younger, and a ultra-successful 'single mom'.

This means the snapshot for Loan's developmental years would be a lonely girl who has to move around and lose her friends whenever her Mom's career demands it. At the same time though she's under pressure from Mom to be great at school/extra-curriculars/whatever, and Mom isn't paying enough attention to realize Loan is cracking under the pressure. Lincoln and the rest of the family probably do their best, but Loan's time is usually taken up and they can't always get out to see her when she's half way across the country.

Puberty comes in, things comes to a boil and when Loan can't take it anymore she just breaks down entirely and goes full NEET. A girl who was once apparently perfect from the outside fails to graduate high school, and can't even talk to people because of a combination of missing social development and assorted complexes.

It's just so much easier for her to exist in her safe room, and live through the internet than going outside...

It's going better than before, we have a lot of things on paper that would make it much more efficient in both cost and code to run, but it hasn't been made. The biggest obstacle is finding someone who can actually put it together and or fix it. I wouldn't mind helping, but this is one of those things where you're stuck if you haven't got the right skillset for it, which I don't. It's been hard to find a replacement sysadmin.

However, if you have your microphone on and it picks up on you using any swears, that adds aggro to her, and using blasphemy immediately aggros her, and you need to recite the Lord's prayer to pacify her. This is also true if you pick dialogue options with such words, and you need to type out the Lord's prayer if you don't have the mic on
>Liby is like Liena, hard to aggravate but hard to help because her problems require investigative skills and mystery solving, but keeping her passive is a big help to other problems
>Lacy is the fastest, and basically impossible to evade, and solving her problems costs you a lot of cool because she needs help with her exercises, which exhausts you
>Lupa has two routes depending on what kind of Lupa you're dealing with
-Bitch/edgelord Lupa is in a near state of constant aggravation, and being around her only increases it, and finding a good solution to her problems is damn near impossible. The only way to pacify her is to evade her and let her be alone, or bribe her with ciggies and art supplies. the saving grace here is that she rarely comes to you for help and only when she absolutely needs it, and has a very slow speed
-Daddy Lupa is the near complete opposite, constantly tailing you and bogging you down with "problems" that are a thinly veiled excuse to be around you, taking time away from pacifying other kids, but near impossible to aggravate, and very quick to pacify
-You could also create a custom Lupa with varying traits, but this locks you out of achieving certain trophies
>Leia is easy to aggravate, but helping her contributes aggro points to all the other kids since they involve screwing them over a little bit except Lizy, but especially Lupa. Keeping her passive could be a big help though, since she has many contacts that could easily solve a lot of your problems
>Lizy is very easy, aggros slowly and pacifies quickly, but aggravating her aggros Leia, which makes your playthough noticeably worse, and pacifying Lizy doesn't mean Leia has forgiven you for aggroing Lizy in the first place.
>Lulu is a real wildcard, and aggravating her or Lani aggros everyone else, because them being aggro scares everyone else, and her aggro comes randomly, but is very easy to pacify, and she helps you in pacifying Lani. Bonus, being around passive Lulu slowly restores cool
>Lani is the real thorn in the side, just as randomly aggravating as Lulu but far less easy to pacify, but pacifying Lulu first means you can recruit her help in pacifying Lani.

>Loth is by far the slowest, basically never asks for help and can sometimes help in dealing with Lupa, but don't ever count on her in dealing with anything else. She is by far the least helpful kid
>Rinn is very helpful in dealing with problems, especially of a medical nature, but she aggros easily, especially if you repeatedly ask her for help

>throughout the game, Lincoln's sister will rotate through the house, and can help in dealing with problems especially if it's for one of their own kids or kids they are closest to. Now that they are grown up, they don't need help with their personal problems nearly as much, and all of them are harder to aggro, and easy to pacify
