That's all Gordon was because Pat had no idea how to write a black character nor apparently did not reach out to actual black CCs on advice. He didn't do what anyone with a brain would do and just write a character first and think about their race and whatnot later. He just wrote "black" and called it a day. That and he also used him, Kimberly, Gabi, Cleo, and Connor as an excuse to make very low effort racial jokes.
