Good for you, the mosquitos here are active as soon as it's minimally above freezing.

It was so dry all year that there barely were any mosquitos until August. There still are next to none of the local ones who depend on extensive rain that floods marshes as breeding ground. But we have a problem with the invasive Asian tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus). The fuckers can breed in the smallest amount of standing water and are active during the day. They also carry diseases like Dengue.

I've set up 5 diy-ovitraps in the garden now and ordered a scent-trap and BTi. Looking at the hot weather, I don't think mosquito season will end before November...
