For many, this is a sensitive topic to discuss -- and what's interesting is that it is equally sensitive both for conservative Christians and for homosexuals. Yet religion is a part of our lives and a beacon of light within it, guiding us toward love, happiness, and eternity. This light, much like the sun, shines upon everyone, not just fundamentalists (Mat. 5:45). Everyone has the right to turn to God, and there is no need to ask permission from any human being to do so.

I want you to know: not all Christians and not all churches cling to outdated Judean laws that condemn homosexuality. After all, we are talking about Christianity, not Judaism. Being gay and Christian is entirely acceptable; there is no dissonance and no sin here if the issue is considered thoughtfully, thoroughly, and without haste.
