Lots of images without thumbnail are still there, just the thumbnail is broken.
The thumbnails can be regenerated by downloading and reposting them with the same filename (maybe works with other filename too). So I think that needs a user who volunteers to do that. Just download and repost.

Some images are simply broken, that only can be "fixed" by scrubbing them from the database.

Even the not broken images needs to be scrubbed first before reposting to thumbnail them again. I'm gonna see what can I do about the issue.

I think only the OP media had broken thumbnails, I regenerated them. What is missing I can't do much about them, because those are broken and I don't have the original media for fixing.
