Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has said that Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny died of a blood clot

Kyrylo Budanov, chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has said that Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny died of a blood clot.
“I may disappoint you, but as far as we know, he indeed died as a result of a blood clot. And this has been more or less confirmed,” Budanov told journalists on the sidelines at the “Ukraine. Year of 2024” forum on Sunday.
"This wasn't sourced from the internet, but, unfortunately, natural [causes],” he added.
Earlier Navalny’s team, reported that his body was finally handed to his mother, Lyudmila Navalnaya, after more than a week since his demise in a remote Arctic colony.
Navalny, President Vladimir Putin's most prominent critic, died on February 16 in one of Russia's toughest prisons in northern Siberia.

RINO 'Cocaine Mitch' McConnell To Step Down As Senate Leader

Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who turned 82 last week and has suffered multiple public 'glitches,' will step down from his Senate leadership position in November after maintaining power for almost two decades as the longest-serving Senate leader in US history.

McConnell was set to announce his decision on Wednesday in the well of the Senate, AP reports.

"One of life’s most underappreciated talents is to know when it’s time to move on to life’s next chapter," he said in prepared remarks seen by the outlet. "So I stand before you today ... to say that this will be my last term as Republican leader of the Senate."

While he'll no longer be leader, McConnell will serve out his Senate term, which ends in January 2027, "albeit from a different seat in the chamber."

It also arrived, as noted above, after two major health scares and his party shifting towards anti-war populism ushered in by President Trump.

The impending leadership vacuum raises questions about the direction of the Republican Party. His successor will inherit a party at a crossroads, caught between its pro-establishment faux-conservative roots and the real conservative national-populist wave that has reshaped it's identity in recent years.

The Central African Armed Forces (French: Forces armées centrafricaines; FACA) are the armed forces of the Central African Republic and have been barely functional since the outbreak of the civil war in 2012. Today they are among the world's weakest armed forces, dependent on international support to provide security in the country. In recent years the government has struggled to form a unified national army. It consists of the Ground Force (which includes the air service), the gendarmerie, and the National Police.[4]

Its disloyalty to the president came to the fore during the mutinies in 1996–1997, and since then has faced internal problems. It has been strongly criticised by human rights organisations due to terrorism, including killings, torture and sexual violence. In 2013 when militants of the Séléka rebel coalition seized power and overthrew President Bozizé they executed many FACA troops.[5]

AG Bailey Files Suit Against Planned Parenthood for Trafficking Children Out-of-State to Obtain Abortions Without Parental Consent

General Bailey’s lawsuit is the culmination of a multi-year campaign to drive Planned Parenthood from the State of Missouri because of its flagrant and intentional refusal to comply with state law. In the suit, Attorney General Bailey lays out Planned Parenthood’s pattern of statutory violations:

In 2018, following at least a half-decade of health-code violations, Planned Parenthood’s facility in Columbia was shut down after staff admitted to having used moldy abortion equipment on women for months.
Also in 2018, Planned Parenthood physicians conceded in open court that, for at least 15 years, the organization failed to comply with state law requiring physicians performing abortions to file reports when women experience medical complications from abortions.
In 2020, the Administrative Hearing Commission determined that even though Missouri law at the time required that the same physician who performs an abortion be the one to notify the woman of the risks of abortion, physicians at Planned Parenthood were not doing so.

Planned Parenthood’s most recent unlawful behavior was captured in an investigative video, when Planned Parenthood staff admitted they traffic minors across state lines to perform abortions without parental consent. Worse, they admit doing this “every day, every day, every day.” The investigation revealed that Planned Parenthood removes minors from school using altered doctors’ notes, transports them into Kansas for abortions, and then quickly returns them—all to avoid the legal requirement to obtain parental consent.

It is against the law in Missouri to intentionally cause, aid, or assist a minor to obtain an abortion without parental consent in another state. § 188.250, RSMo. Attorney General Bailey is seeking injunctive relief.
