General discussion about virtual reality headsets, games, software, and how its overly expensive but also unlike anything on the market.

I have been enjoying Pavlov since its custom game modes have gotten pretty good and it reminds me of Gmod before all the children came.

Virtual reality has been a dumb gimmick for some 30 years now and in that span it hasn't once justified itself in making a genuinely great game. Maybe it's time to wake up? It is only useful for masturbation sims.

You would of been right for the first 2 years of the Vive's release however you now have an abundance of decent software with more premium games coming and with the technology getting standardized the quality of the games can only improve overtime. The games below are some games I would recommend that are currently out.

Pavlov, Onward, VRChat, Space Junkies, COMPOUND, GORN, Hotdogs Horses and Hangrenades, Superhot, Climbey, Blade and Sorcery, and Arizona Sunshine.

same as what the other anon said, had you made that statement in 2013, I would have agreed with you as well. but vr has evolved substantially; and it will continue to do so
