Name your top favorite 10 TV shows along with the aired dates. Only must watch, must have for digital collections. Feel free to mention if any later seasons get shitty. I'll be the first to post a reply to this thread.

1) Kojak (1973 - 1978)
2) In The Heat of the Night (1988 - 1995)
(only seasons 1 - 6, last two seasons are so gay).
3) Breaking Bad (2008 - 2013)
4) Better Call Saul (2015 - 2022)
5) Seahunt (1958 - 1961)
6) I Love Lucy + Lucy Desi Comedy Hour spin-off (1951 - 1960)
7) The Wonder Years (1988 - 1993)
8) Three's Company + both spin-offs (1974 - 1985)
9) All In The Family (1971 - 1979)
10) The Andy Griffith Show (1960 - 1968)
(the original seasons with Don Knotts are by far the best, last two seasons are dull and boring)

Was going to add Cheers but nah! Can't beat the original seasons of The Andy Griffith Show, those are just classics always will be. Have most of these shows on DVD box sets.

All good shows, Trailer Park Boys is hilarious too. Another instant classic. Also like Sanford & Son.

The golden years of television were back in the 50s, 60s and 70s. There were some really good shows during the 80s & 90s too, just less of them. By the early 2000s TV shows started to get really stupid with a few rare exceptions. Shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Ozarks were definitely some of the rare exceptions in modern times. So is Svengoolie (an old time horror movie host on Me-TV who still airs new shows). I did also enjoy watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives too from time to time but watching that show also made me hungry. Antique Road Show was also an interesting watch, they started airing it back in the mid-90s but I think they continue airing new episodes to this day.

I have a friend who doesn't like modern TV either, only sports, but my friend says I should watch Pawn Stars sometime. He says that's the only show besides sport networks he'll watch today. I wouldn't be able to watch it though, I do not pay for TV service anymore. I would have to download anything new I wanted to watch and/or find a DVD box set of the show to buy if I liked it. I got all those older TV shows I liked to watch all on DVD box sets. Well worth the investment.

Three Stooges are classic, at least the older Curly and Shemp ones are.
