Why does the US government always do this? Whenever they cannot fully control something they just want to outright ban it. This is not a free market system. It is suppression and defiance of a free market. Are fellow Americans just too stupid to realize this?

In a true free market system people allow innovation, there is no monopoly over anything, if a business or entrepreneur creates something better than what already exists they are allowed to compete in the market place, and that is a good thing because it promotes consumer choice and improves technology over time.

All that needed to be done was crack down on corruption, not allowing the corruption to become systemic and takeover everything. You cannot have a free market and a monopoly at the same time. The two do not co-exist.
