Suggestion:
A privacy oriented, lightweight, FLOSS, self-hostable front-end for JAVLibrary. (Similar to Invidious, Nitter, Bibliogram, etc.), however this would be for JAVLibrary.

This reason behind this is, it could provide users a more privacy friendly way to fetch database data into programs such as Jellyfin, for this type of content.
It would also provide a significantly better browsing experience, and could offer list tracking. Maybe some kind of federated feature over ActivityPub to connect with others, leave comments, and discuss stuff too.

This could possibly be extended, to be a "mega-frontend database". So for example, it can grab information from many database sites, such as AniDB (For Hentai/Anime), JAVLibrary, Caribbeancom, TheMovieDB (For just movies), TheTVDB (For TV Shows).

I've been thinking about how to sort all the shit I've downloaded over the years. I mostly download hentai games, anime, 2d/3d patreon stuff and videos, and it's a massive pain to catalogue, I thought if it's possible to crowdsource the sorting process while at the same time providing some sort of file sharing.

Different anon, but for my file organization needs, I plan to use a combination of:
- tmsu
- ranger + custom commands
- incrond
- date-based file storage

Goal #1 is to keep ~/Downloads clean.
For that, I'll be using ranger with some custom commands that I'll write to move and tag files to various directories based on date of download.
When I want to find the file later, I'll rely on tmsu tags to help me.
If I feel like I want to move files from ~/Downloads to their archival location automatically, I will use incrond for that.
The archival locations would look like:
- ~/Documents/YYYY/MM/
- ~/Music/YYYY/MM/
- ~/Pictures/YYYY/MM/
- ~/Videos/YYYY/MM/
Files would be stored there based on date of download.
Most of the human work will be in the tagging process, and
I hope I can customize ranger enough to streamline that potentially tedious task.

Goal #2 is to be able to find files quickly.
If anyone knows of a file manager that could potentially integrate tmsu queries, let me know.
My ideal would be to type a tmsu tag query into a file manager and have it be reflected in the UI immediately.
I know that tmsu offers userfs mounting, but navigating its directory structure is not as nice as I would like.

Watching a thread while being banned, I often find myself wanting to respond but being unable to do so.
What if there were a userscript that allowed a side conversation to exist along side an existing thread.
The data for the side conversation would be stored off-site, but its content would be overlayed on top of a thread.
Only users of the userscript would be able to see your comments, but that could be a good thing too.
It could be like a secret club.
It could be named SideChannel or BackChannel.
You could also s/Channel/Chan/.

Had an idea for a script that embeds text into the post. It'd be a cool way to send secret messages or links. I think I'd want it to display the text as a 'code' snippet or something. It'd be in the regular post and use Pastebin or something to send messages.

No idea on how to do this, though. Thought about using image file names. Maybe a format of [pastebin=somelink] or a hash instead of a link in the image name. But jannies would catch onto that pretty quickly so I'm not sure how to get around it.

This software is not done.
The move and copy commands have big fat TODOs on them.
The command's behavior is slightly different from the README too.
The only thing that works is the file scanning, but even that is not feature complete.
I like the idea, but the implementation is half-baked.

There is a jap site called di.g3Tchu (cipher: 3->e, T-t, i->l) that let's you download porn after you pay for it. It doesn't seem that technically advanced, especially after trying to unzip the video I bought with their shitty jap extractor tool, explzh, and it runs on PHP. I inspected the site with dev tools and there was a direct download link, albeit not to an mp4.

I looked into it a while back because catbox kills ~1/100 links after a while, and I figured it'd be a more reliable way to host stuff for my rentry docs on /vg/. The thought kinda just connected itself to your guys's problem today after Third Eye broke for me for one image.

Surely it'd fly via the filename method, without it being reliant on other sites / boorus, which would let you do more stuff or whatever along those lines?
I'd test it myself, but there ain't any way in high hell you could get me to install 4chanX, and the current version of ThirdEye that doesn't require 4X as a codebase (the cunnysoft one) is way out of date as is. Plus, what can I say, I'm just an ideas 'non, I don't know shit about coding.
